Ethics Policy

Critical Link was founded and has been built on the highest standards of technical excellence and ethical business conduct.  The success of the Company is a reflection of our adherence to those standards. Critical Link depends on the judgment and high personal standards of each of its employees in conducting business with integrity and in compliance with the law.

As a representative of Critical Link, each individual employee has a personal responsibility for both the integrity and the consequences of his or her actions.  Additionally, Critical Link makes every effort to ensure that we select partners, suppliers and vendors who we do business with that share our ethics and values.

Critical Link employees are required to safeguard company proprietary information, disclosing it to others within the Company only on a need-to-know basis and to those outside the Company only after management review and approval. The same requirements also apply to protecting proprietary information entrusted to Critical Link by a third-party.

Obtaining sufficient and accurate information can be critical in effective marketing and in the development of winning proposals. Employees and consultants responsible for gathering data must ensure that Critical Link has a legal right to this information.

Critical Link has strict policies with respect to giving and/or receiving gratuities. The underlying objective of these policies is to avoid putting either the Company or its customers and associates in conflict of interest situations.

Critical Link personnel are discouraged from accepting gratuities of any kind in any situation and are strictly prohibited from accepting gratuities in those cases where such acceptance causes conflicts of interest or even gives the appearance of causing conflicts of interest.

Critical Link’s policy is in strict compliance with all laws of the United States, of the individual states and other jurisdictions where Critical Link does business. Observance of this policy requires adherence to all antitrust and trade regulation laws as well as to the provisions of all antitrust decrees or orders entered against Critical Link. Attention is particularly directed to the prohibitions of the antitrust laws against concerted action with competitors on such subjects as prices, customers, terms of sale and other competitive matters. It is especially important that employees avoid any actual violation of these prohibitions and any conduct which might be misconstrued as such a violation. The only safe rule, and the one which all employees are expected to follow, is never to discuss matters of competitive significance with a competitor.

Critical Link is committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.  Each individual has the right to work in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal employment opportunities and prohibits discriminatory practices, including harassment.
